Question by nick: What is the quickest & easiest way to get from the NYC airport to the Nokia Theatre?
I'm flying to NYC. When I'm scheduled to land I should have 55 min. to get to the Nokia Theatre for a show. I KNOW, I'm really pushing it. I will be arriving at the La Guardia Airport. I'm assuming the subway is quickest and cheapest. How do I get their taking the subway? What stop is it?

The subway is the quickest and cheapest way, however, LGA is not served by the subway. There you will need take a bus to the subway station and then the subway into Manhattan.
My advice, if you want to be at the Nokia Theater in about a hour, take a taxi from the airport to the theater. It will cost you about $ 30.
Good luck

It's probably going to be faster taking a cab provided there are no accidents or construction on the roads. If you're going to a show at Nokia, I assume it will be evening so you should be ok unless the show is starting at 7 or 7:30. You might still hit some residual rush hour traffic.
A few things to avoid delays if you take a cab...do not let the cab driver take you over the Triboro (aka the RFK) Bridge. This will take you well out of your way while earning the cab driver a higher fare and you'll have to pay a bridge toll on top of that.
Tell the driver to use the Midtown Tunnel. You'll still have to pay a toll but the midtown tunnel ends in Manhattan at 39th Street and 2nd Avenue as opposed to the Triboro Bridge which enters Manhattan via 125th Street and 2nd Avenue (Nokia is on 44th and Broadway). All told the full cab option will be about 36 dollars including the toll.
IF you can stand missing perhaps the first 10 minutes of the show, a cheaper option would be to have the cab driver take you to the Roosevelt Avenue and 74th Street train station which is about 10-15 minutes from La Guardia ($ 10-12) and get the E, F or 7 express train ($ 2.50) to Times Square for the E and 7 trains and 42nd Street for the F. All three of these trains should take no more than 25 minutes to get to point B. The E & F trains run downstairs, the 7 is upstairs.
In this instance you'll want to try to take whatever comes first because no matter which you take, you're going to wind up walking about 2 blocks to the theatre anyway. Buy your Metrocard (pass to use the subway) at the vending machine in the terminal at LaGuardia to save time...there may be quite a few more people buying them at the train station causing you further delay.
