Question by elfogom: why the big differences in cell phone prices?
How come cell phone prices vary so much at different sellers? A Samsung Captivate smart phone is advertised at amazon for $ 0.01 but at AT&T they want $ 199 out of pocket. Same two year contract.

your Question is not clear to me.Is it cell phone price or per unit/min call rate?

Amazon runs specials like that all the time but for you to get that price at Amazon it is i believe a new line of service on a 2 year contract not an upgrade.
Att is 199 for new customer and 199 for an upgrading customer no price difference.
