because i live in england and im moving to riyadh in 3 weeks, i need to know what mobile phones they have for sale there
are they the same ones that are out here in england?

If your are looking for the mobile unit. the usual nokia are most popular in here.Second is Sony Ericsson.
For the Shop you can go to Mursalat area.Taxi drivers knows this area. most communication enthusiast (like me )know this.The place are for cellphone shops from brand new to second hand.There is a lot of shops in this place not only one.this is the market for cellphone only.and you can trade-in your old cellphone to new one if you like.

You can buy phones in Jarir Bookstore. There are several locations in Riyadh. Also there are small mobile phone shops in all of the shopping malls. You won't have any trouble finding a phone you like. As for the service, you can go with Jawal (STC-Saudi Telecom) (SAWA is their prepaid), mobily, or zain. They all run different promotions all the time, so check each company before you decide on a plan.
also, you can probably use your phone from England if it uses a sim card.
