well if by discontinued u mean stopped production then its because better models have replaced it in the market. in its own sense it is a very good phone but people are moving towards 3G models, 3230 had its time, but now other phones have taken over.
its time to move on and it happens with all the models

Well, in Malaysia it is still available for sale. I must say that if a phone is discontinued, doesn't mean it is not good. K700i also has been discontinued here but it is still a great phone.
