I have a tmobile account with a sidekick and i want to get an unlocked gsm phone through a 3rd party retailer. Would my bill be affected or continue to stay the same. I have unlimited texting,nights,weekends and email. Will tmobile be able to tell I switched phones?

T-mobile can tell the model of your phone. Everytime I change sim cards they can tell what phone I have.

one thing i will tell you since i do work for tmobile is NEVER sign a contract through a 3rd party.it is the worst thing you could do unless you are 100% sure you will be able to live up to the 2 year contract they have. if you do go through a 3rd party dealer for setting up service and cancel your service after the 20 day grace period you will not only have to pay tmobile 200 but you will also have to pay the 3rd party dealer 200 and possibly more. if you did this already and you can still void your contract without having to worry about the early termination fee i highly reccommend getting out of that while you can. and if you change your plan that voids your contract as well and you have to pay them the early termination fee. not tmobile...but whatever 3rd party dealer you are going through
